Raicommerce Begins Work on the Project in Byala

Project "Integrated Water Management in the Territory of Byala, Ruse Region" Launched

On September 25, the project "Integrated Water Management in the Territory of Byala, Ruse Region" was launched. The project is funded by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the state budget of the Republic of Bulgaria through the Operational Program "Environment 2007-2013." The leading organization is the Municipality of Byala, with ViK Ruse as a partner. The total budget of the project is BGN 41,410,157, with BGN 32,124,343 provided by the Cohesion Fund, national co-financing amounting to BGN 8,031,086, and the Municipality of Byala, Ruse Region, contributing BGN 1,254,728 of its own funds.

The project work is divided into two separate positions:

1.Engineering – Work Design, Coordination, and Construction of the WWTP in Byala, Ruse Region, Supply and Installation of Technological Equipment, and Commissioning of the Facility: WWTP-Byala for 14,100 PE and Author Supervision;

2.Construction and Installation Works for the Construction of Incoming Collectors, Completion of the Sewerage Network, and Reconstruction of Water Pipelines along the Coinciding Street Routes in Byala, Ruse Region.
The work for position two will be carried out by the consortium "Raicommerce Byala," led by "Raicommerce Construction" PLC.

The works included in lot 2 will be carried out by Consortium “Raicommerce Byala”, with leader “Raicommerce Construction JSC” The Mayor of the town opened the event with a short greeting to the guests, then a few words about the project were said by the other official guests. The beginning of the project was given with a ritual first groundbreaking ceremony. The works included in lot 2 comprise: Construction of a collector from the town of Byala to the wastewater treatment plant; Construction of a inlet collector from the town of Byala to the wastewater treatment plant (4.2 km); Construction of two sewerage pumping stations; Completion of the sewerage network of the town of Byala (17 km); Reconstruction of the piping system along routes, coinciding with the street piping system of the newly built sewerage (16.7 km). Furthermore, a suspended bridge route of about 180 m length will be provided on the main road Sofia – Ruse.
