"Raicommerce Construction" Uses One-of-a-Kind Machine
"Raicommerce Construction" PLC successfully completed another project, using for the first-time innovative technology with a specialized hydraulic press for trenchless installation. This machine allows for work at great depths and with diameters up to 2000 mm.
The project, located near Sofia Airport and commissioned by a private investor, was realized thanks to the excellent cooperation among several divisions. The teamwork and professionalism of the employees of Raicommerce Drilling, the welders from the Repair and Installation Warehouse Base, and the Capital Construction division led to outstanding results. During the project implementation, 93 meters of sewerage were constructed along Brussels Blvd., with 37 meters laid in a steel casing pipe. An additional 209 meters were laid using the open-cut method. Three new fire hydrants, a building water supply connection, and a building sewer connection for the new administrative building of the client were also constructed.
To successfully complete the project, it was necessary to work in two shifts for 15 consecutive days without interruption. Ivaylo Ivanov's team, consisting of Yuri Hristov, Georgi Angelov, and Vladimir Niklenov, faced significant challenges during the installation of the steel pipes due to the presence of groundwater. There was also a discrepancy in the cadastral plan, which affected the laying of the casing pipe, located at a depth of 5.5 meters, while the existing collector, which needed to be connected, was at 7.2 meters. Despite the unfavorable conditions, all project activities were completed on time and with the quality expected of the company.
The realization of this project was a significant success for "Raicommerce Construction." The company's employees once again proved that even when working with new technology, precision, high quality, and efficiency are achievable results.
